MINUTES OF SUTTERTON PARISH COUNCIL MEETING HELD ON DECEMBER 7TH 2022 AT 7.00PM IN THE COMMUNITY LOUNGE AT THE VILLAGE HALL

22/102 Receive nominations for and to appoint a temporary Chairman
Cllr. Maltby proposed Cllr. Sands, no other nominations were received.
It was agreed that Cllr. Sands be appointed chairman untill May 4th 2023.
22/103 Public Forum
No members of the public were present.
22/104 Chairmans comments
No comments were received.
22/105 Apologies received and the reason given
Apologies were received from Cllr’s. Brookes and Cooper.
22/106 Receipt of declarations of interest in accordance with the requirements of the Localism Act 2011 and to consider any written requests for dispensation in relation to disclosable pecuniary interests
None were received.
22/107 Notes of the last meeting held on November 2nd to be approved as the minutes
It was proposed by Cllr. Maltby and seconded by Cllr. Allen that the minutes be signed with one amendment made - 22/96 to read planning application B/22/0405 Sutterton Parish Council has reservations regarding the application, the entrance is on Station Road, the housese are very close attenuation pond doesn’t seem big enough for 8 houses and they will be built on agriculture land.
22/108 Police matters
No matters were raised.
22/109 Report from the Clerk of issues arising since the last meeting
The council has had further discussions on planning application B/22/0405
Action Clerk to contact Alan Watts at the Borough
22/110 Lincolnshire County Council and Boston Borough - information from and for County and Borough Councillors
Neither the Borough, nor the County Councillors were present.
22/111 Highway matters
There were no highway matters.
22/112 Community Speed watch
Cllr. George reported that she was still having problems with the Speed Indicator Device.
Action Cllr. George to contact previous Cllr’s who have been able to produce reports

It was proposed by Cllr. Baker seconded by Cllr. Ingham that the payments be made.
22/114 Matters for report
It was reported that two waste bins should be replaced, located near to the chip shop and down One Way Street, with a new bin to be requested to be put on Boston Road near the bus stop.
Action - Clerk to contact the Borough
22/115 Sutterton Cemetery
It was agreed that a maintenance man be arranged on an “as and when” understanding
22/116 Matters for inclusion in the January Agenda
The Clerk reminded members that the Precept would be on the agenda and Cllr. Maltby asked if the Coronation of Charles III could also be added.
There being no further business the meeting closed at approx. 8.30pm the next meeting will be on Wednesday January 4th 2023.
