22/01 To receive nominations for and to appoint a Chairman
Cllr. Ingham nominated Cllr. Fitchett seconded by seconded by Cllr. Baker
Cllr. Thorpe nominated Cllr. Maltby
Cllr. Fitchett was re-elected as Chairman
22/02 To receive nominations for and to appoint a Vice-Chairman
Cllr. Baker proposed Cllr. Ingham this was seconded by Cllr. Fitchett
Cllr. Thorpe nominated Cllr. Sands, a show of hands took place, Cllr. Ingham received 5 votes Cllr. Ingham was appointed Vice-Chair.
22/03 To appoint members to Committees and representatives on other Organisations
Village Hall Committee - presently Cllr’s Baker & Ingham
Playing Field Committee - presently Cllr’s Thorpe & Baker
Highways Representative - presently Cllr. George

22/04 Public Forum
2 members of the public raised the problems in Blows Lane regarding lorries turning and churning up the verges.
22/05 Receipt of declarations of interest in accordance with the requirements of the Localism Act 2011
None were reived
22/06 Apologies for absence and the reason given
Apologies were received from Cllr Brookes (LCC)
22/07 Notes of the last meeting held on April 6th, 2022, to be approved as the minutes
It was proposed by Cllr. Maltby seconded by Cllr. Baker

Cllr. Cooper is to check on the planning conditions regarding the Blows Lane Site

Cllr. Cooper reported that staff at the Borough Offices were now encouraged to work in the office.
22/11 Correspondence received which the Council are invited to resolve on
The community litter picker - has tendered her resignation
Action - Clerk is to Compose a poster which will be on the Parish Council Facebook page
22/12 Highway Matters
Blows Lane - The verges churned up by HGV’s trying to access the Nursery
Potholes were also reported on Blows Lane
Cllr. George also reported a damaged gully near the doctors.
22/13 Speed Detection Data
The device is still on Station Road.
22/14 Planning
B/22/22/0109 Outline planning permission for 21ft x 54ft poly-tunnell
and replacement of a small glass house at Ripple Corner
The application was discussed and there were no objections.
Action - the clerk to notify the planning department at the Borough
B/22/0165 Outline planning permission for the construction of 2 no bungalows following demolition of existing garage at Ellen House, Boston Road, Sutterton, Lincolnshire PE20 2HD
The application was discussed and there were no objections.
Action - The Clerk to notify the planning department at the Borough
Lincolnshire CC - Executive Decision Notice
That the proposed expansion to the capacity at the Fourfields Church of England School in , Sutteton with effect from 1st September 2023 be approved

22/15 Parish Matters
Cllr. Allen on the rota reported no problems, as she is due to hand over to Cllr. Thorpe she volunteered to carry on for May as Cllr. Thorpe is recovering from surgery.
Cllr. Thorpe remarked on the numberof HGVs using the village.
Cllr. Sands asked if it was possible to have new signs for no dogs in the playground.
Cllr. Maltby informed the meeting that he will be collecting the plants on May 11th

There being no further business the meeting closed at approx. 21.05pm
