MINUTES OF SUTTERTON PARISH COUNCIL MEETING HELD ON SEPTEMBER 7th 2022 in the COMMUNITY ROOM AT THE VILLAGE HALL AT 6.45pm

22/50 Public Forum The recent flooding was discussed.
The Welland Deeping Drainage Board are trying to trace the landowner.
22/51 Presentation to the Most Pleasing Garden Winners
Cllr’s George and Ingham announced the winners

22/52 Chairman’s Comments
The Chairman thanked Cllr’s George & Ingham for giving up their time to judge the Most Pleasing Garden.
The Chairman commented on the work that has been done in trying to sort help for the rough sleeper who is sleeping in the Bus Shelter.
22/53 Receipt of declarations of interest in accordance with the requirements of the Localism Act 2011, and to consider any written requests for dispensation to members disclosable pecuniary interests
None were received.
22/53 Notes of the last meeting held on July 7th to be approved as the minutes
It was proposed by Cllr. Baker and seconded by Cllr. George that the minutes be signed.
22/54 Matters for the Police
The Police have visited the village recently more often than usual.
Members have heard that drugs are being dealt in Sutterton.
22/55 Reports from the minutes of the previous meeting and report from the Clerk of issues arising since the last meeting

22/56 Correspondence received which the Council are invited to resolve on
Access to the clock, and the fitting of a safety net on the walkway
Sutterton Parochial Charity - Lynn Craven & John Thorpe have indicated that they wish to put their names forward for a further term

It was proposed by Cllr. Allen seconded by Cllr. Rushworth that the payments be made.
It was proposed by Cllr. Maltby that the Clerk’s back pay be paid in one payment this was seconded by Cllr. Baker.
Inspection Rota
Cllr. Fitchett on the rota reported all well
The report to be discussed at the October meeting
22/61 To appoint a Community Cleaner
Cllr. Fitchett proposed going into closed session to discuss the Community Cleaner and other items.
There were 3 applicants for the job after discussing the applicants it was agreed unamimously that
Mrs. Taylor be appointed.
22/62 Sutterton Cemetery it was proposed by seconded by that the restriction on head stones in the garden of remembrance was removed

22/63 The Fence around the Recreational Field
2 quotes have been received.
Action the Clerk to ask for the quotes to be clarified and discussed at the October meeting
22/63 Matters for inclusion in the October Agenda
No additional items were brought to attention
There being no further business the meeting closed at 9.40pm the next meeting will be on Wednesday October 5th 2022
